Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data RB Trading ("we", "us") collects on tradingeducation.rbtrading.site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect your email address only when you choose to give it to us, we use it to send you the newsletter you asked for, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

• Email address — when you submit one of the subscribe forms on this site. That's the only personal information we ask for.
• Form metadata — our hosting provider (Netlify) records the page a form was submitted from and basic campaign parameters (e.g. which ad or link brought you here) so we know which pages work.
• Analytics and advertising data — this site uses the Meta (Facebook) pixel and the X (Twitter) pixel to measure whether our advertising works. These set cookies and report standard events (such as a page view or a signup) to those platforms. We don't see your identity in this data — only aggregate counts.
• Local preferences — small values stored in your own browser (localStorage) to remember things like whether you've already seen a popup, so we don't nag you twice. This data never leaves your device.

How we use it

• To deliver the free Inside the Trade newsletter you subscribed to, via Substack, which handles the mailing list and email delivery.
• To understand which pages and campaigns bring readers, so we can improve the site.
• To measure advertising performance on Meta and X.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Ever.

Who processes your data

• Netlify — hosts this site and receives form submissions.
• Substack — stores the mailing list and sends the newsletter. Their own privacy policy applies to email delivery.
• Meta and X — receive anonymous advertising measurement events via their pixels.

How long we keep it

Your email stays on the list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Unsubscribing removes you from all future mailings.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and similar laws you can, at any time:

• Unsubscribe — every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Request a copy or deletion of your data — reply to any newsletter email, or contact us via rbtrading.substack.com, and we'll action it promptly.
• Limit ad tracking — you can block the Meta and X pixels with standard browser tracking protection or extensions without affecting the site or the newsletter.

Third-party links

This site links to third-party services (Substack, TradingView, prop trading firms, our own apps). Their sites have their own privacy policies — this policy covers only tradingeducation.rbtrading.site.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be mentioned in the newsletter.
